Worldwide Coronavirus Deaths Top 2,759,000

The novel coronavirus claimed the lives of more than 2,795,000 people worldwide since its appearance in December 2019, according to the latest statistics by the American Worldometers Website.
The website added that the total number of the coronavirus infections worldwide has climbed to 127,738,764, while the fatalities have amounted to 2,795,325, and the recoveries have reached up to 102,893,147.
The US is still on top of the countries affected by the coronavirus in terms of the infections and the deaths after recording 562,457 fatalities out of 30,955,753 infections, while Brazil comes in the second place with 312,206 deaths out of 12,534,688 infections.
Meanwhile, India comes third with 161,881 fatalities out 12,039,210 coronavirus infections.
