‘Israeli’ Analyst: Syria’s Response Broke the Balance, Negated our Aerial Superiority
Local Editor

Military analyst on ‘Israeli' Channel 20 Noam Amir commented on the ‘Israeli' strike that his Damascus and the repercussions that followed amid Syria's confrontation: "What happened this dawn between the ‘Israeli' air force and the Syrian army is a dramatic incident that obliges the ‘Israeli' air force to draw a new path with respect to any new war."

‘Israeli' Analyst: Syria's Response Broke the Balance, Negated our Aerial Superiority

Amir further noted that "practical activities of such kind were supposed to end up in the morning with foreign reports on Arab media outlets, in which the army spokesperson would respond briefly as follows: ‘We don't comment on foreign reports."

"However, the exceptional activities obliged the ‘Israeli' army to issue an unprecedented statement confessing it did attack targets in Syria, and that it was counter-attacked by the Syrian aerial defense, and was obliged to launch Arrow missile to prevent drone interception," Amir added.

He further explained that "what is exceptional in the incident is that the ‘Israeli" aircrafts were caught on Syrian radars when flying over the entity's space. Launching the interceptor operated the sky protection system of the internal front, which automatically activated the sirens. Additionally, the photos of missiles that hit Jordan and went viral on social media forced the army to clarify the issue."

The ‘Israeli' analyst added that the Syrians were aware that they have to do something in order to deal with the Zionist attacks.

The interceptors, according to Amir, are ancient and traditional, and "they are not used by the advanced defense system brought by the Russians to the Middle East."

The ‘Israeli" analyst further noted that in this case, "Syria have created a dramatic shift using its ability to uncover aerial force activities."

He concluded as saying: "breaking the balance in such way would clearly exclude ‘Israeli' aerial forces activities in the region and distract ‘Israel's' ability to attack the ‘enemy's' armament beyond the borders."

"'Israel' have previously announced that it could not remain silence towards the transfer of strategic weapons to Hezbollah, or in general between the Middle Eastern borders. However, after the attack, there is no doubt that the practical challenge has reached higher levels," Amir added.
