Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said "Israel" seeks to create a more chaotic situation in the Middle East, and called on the regional countries to unite and maintain their vigilance in a bid to foil the plots hatched by Tel Aviv, Fars News Agency reported.
Ahmadinejad Calls for Regional Unity against ’Israel’ "Zionists want Turkey, Libya, Egypt and other regional countries to always be in a volatile situation; so given such behavior, we should extend the hand of brotherhood to one another more than ever," Ahmadinejad said on Thursday in a meeting with an Iraqi official.

Moreover, he remarked that "Israel" is happy to see some regional countries in turmoil "because they do not want these countries to be powerful and progress."

Focusing on Iran-Iraq cooperation, Ahmadinejad said, "Today, Tehran and Baghdad have a very close cooperation in engineering, energy and electricity fields, which we hope would increase with the passage of each new day, and include more fields in the future."

Ahmadinejad further noted that everyone believes today that the region's progress and security depends on cooperation and shared efforts of Iran and Iraq.
