The Lebanese Army Tuesday raided a "compound" in the southern city of Sidon, arresting 11 Syrians, a security source said.
A Military Intelligence unit conducted the raid on the Alayli compound.
The individuals were detained for not possessing proper entry or residency documentation.
The raid was part of a recent crackdown on unregistered or undocumented refugees in Lebanon. A similar raid was carried out on Monday in Sidon. Seven Syrians were arrested for improper documentation and allegedly inciting civil strife.
