Lebanon Records 706 Coronavirus Cases, 6 Deaths in Last 24 Hrs.

Lebanon recorded 706 new COVID-19 cases and six deaths in the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry reported Monday.
A total of 12,530 tests were administered in the last 24 hours, resulting in an average two-week positivity rate of 8.4 percent.
The report also said that 439 people were in hospital with the virus, including 181 patients in intensive care and 42 on ventilators.
The new numbers bring the aggregate to 583,718 cases and 7,982 deaths in Lebanon since the virus was first discovered in February 2020. Out of the latest figures, 24 were among travelers arriving in Lebanon.
